At SheaCreamery, It's All About the Butters Frequently Asked Questions

HOT WEATHER SHIPPING

Shea butter is sensitive to hotter temperatures in the spring, summer and fall months. The butter may melt in hot or humid environments. At SheaCreamery our butters are all natural and still can be used.  Once the whip version melts, it wont go back to a whipped texture (unless you whip it again with a hand mixer); however, you will find it is still spreadable like butter and very creamy.  If it arrives melted, put it in the fridge and let it re-harden, then take it out and let it return to room temperature. When ordering, keep the following in mind:

  • Temperatures differ from state to state.
  • Your order is being shipping from our temperature-controlled location. We check to ensure your order is of perfect quality prior to sealing the package for shipment. However, we cannot guarantee that your butter or whipped product will arrive in the same perfect condition. For this reason, we do not provide refunds or replacements of product that has changed consistency by high temperatures.
